Whether you’re hitting the road for a day trip, weekend drive, or cross-country adventure, there are some key items that will make any road trip smoother. Before you finalize your list, make sure to check the weather along the route, because rain, snow, or sunshine can be on the horizon. And as always, check for travel restrictions and closures before planning your trip.
